Chen Kuan-Tai

Watched a couple of Chen Kuan-Tai movies this weekend and was inspired to create a portrait of the man, the legend!

Chen Kuan-Tai

Chen Kuan-Tai starred in a ton of Shaw Brothers movies back in their heyday.  Kuan-Tai was one of the first trained martial arts experts to be cast in Shaw Bros. movies.  He starred in hit movies of Cheng Cheh and Lau Kar Leung, among other greats.  This pic is from his role as Dao Tian-du  from The Crippled Avengers (1978).  Most recently he was in Gallants and Man with the Iron Fists.
