Chinese Hercules and The Black Dragon playing @ The New Beverly LA May 5

If you’re in LA, you have a chance to see 2 vintage kung fu movies on the big screen at The New Beverly, both having NOTHING to do with Bruce Lee.  Though they do like to mention him!  Coming May 5th.

Chinese Hercules (1979)

Starring Bolo Yeung (kinda, not really) / directed by Tak Choy

Though it headlines the impressively large villain of ENTER THE DRAGON and BLOODSPORT fame, he really is a supporting character.

The Black Dragon (1975)

starring Ron Van Clief / directed by Chin-Ku Lu

Remember when Bruce Lee was MURDERED back in 1973 by an underground crime syndicate (citation needed)?  Well, Ron Van Clief, aka the Black Dragon, was hired to solve the mystery!  Starring 5-time world karate champion Ron Van Clief.
